XP does not boot

By ismael_hakim ·
Dear alls:

I have a Dell Computer where i installed a Windows XP. It was working fine but suddenly it does not boot any more, even if i want to run in safe mode.

the system keeps sending me a message: unmountable_boot_volume assoiciated with the following information technique:
Ox000000ED(Ox80E32A40, OxC000009C, Ox00000000,Ox00000000)

I would appriciate receiving any hint on how to solve this problem.

A probable solution to your problem is located at article Q297185

however since you indicated that you might have used it for "awhile" and then encountered, along with the ED notation in the string above, the problem your solution may instead be article Q315403

I do think it is the second article that most relates to your problem and how to fix it.

Hope this helps.
