I have heard from several Alpha and Beta sources that the OS XP has imbedded code that when you log onto the internet, it checks your version of MS products against Microsoft Database and if you are not a register user
1. Will request you to register
2. Bill you for the software
3. Disable software from using
In the past, it has been the policy that if you job requires Microsoft suites of software you were allowed to put it on your home system. With XP, you must purchase another copy.
Can I get a definitive answer on these subjects.
