XP home edition networking

I networked my XP home Edition in the same workgroup of a PC with millenium installed. I used IP prtocol. First pc: 10.1.1.1/255.0.0.0, second pc: 10.1.1.2/255.0.0.0. They both have file and print sharing installed with My document folder shared. I sign in on both PC using the same user ID and passwork. The Hub is working fine…I was using it on other PCs. Network card are fine. No conflict, status: connected. No firewall is installed. Antivirus is also disabled.
And Yet, both PCs cannot see eachothers on the workgroup. What am I doing wrong!! Is these an Home Edition issue? If I use XP pro with same settings, It will work fine…
