Hi
XP Home stopped booting up. It will not boot in either regular or safe mode. Gets to the “Windows is Starting up” screen and the computer shuts off and re-starts. An endless loop.
Fortunately, it will boot from “last Known Good configuration”
no files in my mini-dump.
Tried to do a re-install/repair from XP CD – no luck. Tried chkdsk /r – no luck.
I am currently running a virus scan online from TrendMicro.
Any other ideas?
