Hi all, hope you can help me.
Setup:
Dell PC + Dell Laptop connected via Belkin wireless network (11Mbs). Both have Windows XP and Outlook 2002(XP). PC has ISDN internet connection and ICS setup (Host). Laptop is ICS client and can browse the net OK.
The Problem:
Laptop cannot receive email. The messages are “downloaded” according to the progress bar. It also says mail delivery is 100% complete, but nothing appears in the inbox. Occassionally I get a 0x800421a error which I believe is caused by faulty Outlook express files. Strange thing is, the Laptop works fine when is connects via modem. So the OE files are out of the question.
Another strange fact: The email account i need to retreive from can be accessed via a website login. The laptop cannot access this webpage. The PC can.
Is this an ICS problem?, or another program conflicting. The laptop has AVG antivirus and RealPlayer. God I hate RealPlayer, the spyware is a pain in the arse. Could this be my problem?Hmmmm. Hope not, coz he needs it for BBC broadcasts. Any ideas anyone, PLEASE……..
The laptop used to work but suddenly stopped.
