XP LOGIN LOCK-UP

I copied my c drive with ghost to a larger drive. Now at boot, it locks on the login screen. I have managed to get to recovery consul with the help of smartdrv. On repair option, it will not accept my password. On install option, it says that it cannot find eua. Where do I go from here
