My company is implementing a logon banner via GPO for anyone logging into company machines. I was asked if the logon banner could also include an image which could be pulled from a network share.
I’ve only done logon banners that contain text before and searching online only gives info on what registry keys are affected by the GPO. Is it possible to include an image in a 2k/XP logon banner?
I’ve played with the idea of starting a dialog box with the image embedded written in vb and also opening a frameless web page on logon with the banner contents but would really like to know if the standard GPO settings can contain an image or what other legal options I can use to show the banner.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
