XP machine and NT server

Not sure if I’m asking in the right forum, but here goes! One of the networked computers, running XP O/S, must be manually connected to the computer each time it boots. Our other networked computers run Win98 and the logon script executes automatically on boot. What do I need to do to automate the logon script on the XP machine? Thanks for any help/suggestions!
