XP Network Problems

By tomq ·
How can 3 Win XP systems see each other one day, shutdown for the night, cannot see mapped drives, or each other in the AM?

For 65 points. I'll simply say - welcome to Microsoft's wonderful little world.

I've seen something similar at one of my client sites - haven't been able to explain it, except that TCP/IP and/or the WinXP firewall seem to be involved. I finally installed NETBEUI protocol and got them all on the same workgroup to solve the problem. Hope this helps!
