My Laptop had 384MB ram which XP recognizes I then upgraded to 1gb the bios sees it but xp still shows 384MB. when I switch to another HD with a different Resident XP OS it sees the 1GB
and I see a marked improvement but when the original HD with the original XP OS is put back it again only shows 384 MB this also is what is showing in the task manager allocations
my on board video is set at 32MB RAM and is not sharing the Ram
I have already tried to do a repair of the OS to no Avail
any help would be greatly appreciated
