lap top windows Xp operating system, nt4.0 server
having problems logging onto server.intermittent logon access.ip address is assigned automatically with dhcp enabled.keep getting the message windows cannot connect to the domain,either because the domain controller is down,unavailable or account not found.

You need to establish/re-establish a new computer account in the NT 4 domain.

Secondly, Under network connections, you might check the priority of your network connections. I had a computer having the same problem/similar problem. His top priority connection was an ieee 1394 connection.
