attempted to overlay fresh copy of XP Pro on P4 machine with 1GB memory and 60 GB HDD. Install stalled looking for “asms” file on XP disc. When I attempt to ignore and continue, there is a fatal eror message “that prevents setup from coninuing. One of the component windows needs could not be installed. Secondary error message,”c:\windows\system32\drivers\uninst2k.exe was not copied to c:\program^1\sis7012\uninst\uninst2k.exe because the user chose to skip the file operation. Now I cannot start windows, it wants to complete the installation and I get the same error messages. What can I do
to complete the install (to replace files) or get back to windows? I have told it to boot from the IDE 0 first.
