XP Pro Hangs When You Drag and Drop Files.

I have an XP PRo PC that is on a network with Novell 4.11 and Microsoft servers. When I drag and drop files the machine freezes and must reboot. Cut and paste works most of the time, but also freezes, but preffer drag and drop. Anyone have a solutions to this problem.
