Check your power supply. Rebooting maybe cause by inadequate power supply.

You can turn off the auto-reboot by open System control panel, click Advanced, startup & Recovery and untick 'Automatic reboot'. Then you can see Blue Screen and then diagnose the problem.

Try booting from your XP CD. If it accesses the CD but still reboots it's a hardware problem. If you get into the CD you can do a repair from there.

You need to disable the auto-reboot on errors fuction. But since it won't stop rebooting? There's a way to do it but you have to be pretty experienced. This is usually caused by a hard failure somewhere in the boot process. You can try reinstalling the OS. This often caused by viruses. So if there's nothing really needed on the drive it may be a god time to start over.

There's a command prompt registry editor that will allow you to disable auto-reboot Read the instructions and if you feel you can do it then the download for the software is free and works. Once you get past this obstacle you'll be able to see the blue screen that's stopping the PC from booting. Then post that error.

While it is starting up press F8 until the option menu appears.

Select disable reboot on error. This will allow you to get a little more into the boot even if it is just an error screen.

you can have several problems.
one your hard drive has bad sectors that at in the booting sectors that Windows OS is located or sectors that are needed to boot the PC.

you can remove the hard drive and place in another PC and run chkdsk on it. It might help.

second you can have spyware/adware, some are cause a lot of problems. If you have this hard drive in a another already check it with Ad-Aware / spybots or any other good adware/spyware

third you hard drive is diing.

Good Luck

check the capacitors next to the CPU.
If the capacitors are flat on top they are good.
If they are raised they are bad.
Having just one bad capacitor will cause this problem.
You will have to replace the motherboard

Good Luck
