I have an office LAN with 18 PCs connected for internet and printing. Using a DSL ISP with normal bandwidth at 1.5 to 2.0 Mbps.
All of these machines function great – XP Pro and 2000 Pro EXCEPT 4 machines purchased from DELL with XP Pro. These 4 machines require almost constant re-boot to establish connection to the network. Lengthy phone conversations with DELL TECH SUPPORT have not produced any solutions. From everything I can see, ALL of my settings are the same as other XP pro machines on the network. This is truly baffling and causing a lot of problems for us. PLEASE ADVISE WITH ANY SUGGESTIONS!!! THANK YOU
