NT network, 550 student users, all 98se machines now integrating XP’s. Is there a simple way to default printers for different labs so that each user is able to use a printer without individually adding it to his profile? All users get the programs but printers? in different labs?Also any way to have the students not change the home win explorer page? I have been in heaven with 98se and Deep Freeze. Absolutely no computers can be changed. Three years ago I was in roaming profile, policy nightmares. Can anyone recommend a simple how to set up a WinXP computer on a network with immature users? Unfortunately, on the new fast Dell Pentium 4 machines with 1.7 ghz windows 98se has been freezing on network machines, not stand alones. Maybesomeone has a solution to that problem?
