I have a desktop machine running XP Pro, hard-wired to a Linksys wireless router, and a Vista laptop wirelessly connected to the same router. Both were able to access the Internet and share files, printer, etc. until I installed XP SP3.
Now, they both can still use the Internet, and the XP machine can see the shared files on the laptop. However, now the laptop can “see” the desktop machine, but cannot connect to it, or use the shared files or printer. How do I repair the damage caused by installation of SP3 on the XP machine?
