I have a clean installation of XP Pro and I am unable to connect to my exchange server for MS Messaging.
Our company has a private IM exchange server running. We all used MSN
messenger 3.5 and it worked great. I just got a new laptop with XP Pro on
it and I am unable to connect to our exchange IM without getting a passport
like I was able to with v3.5 I have upgraded to 4.5 from MS but this does
not correct the situation. I cannot uninstall messenger that comes with XP
and install 3.5, nor can I install 3.5 over v4 that comes with XP. Another
person here upgraded their win2k laptop to XP and everything works fine
because he had he exchange only messenger installed previously. How can I
get this functionality? Thanks!
