The full configuration is. Desktop running XP Pro 64 connected by cable to a SKY broadband router. Laptop running XP Pro 32 connected to the same router by RF. I had it working so that I could see each from the other and could RDP to the desktop. I had to reload XP on the laptop and it no longer works. I’ve searched high and lo for the magic ingredientbut can’t find it. Workgroup name is HOME and machine names are Homedt and Homelt. A small difference is that originally the DT was running Vista but my this not working properly with OS updates and as I disliked Vista intensely I sourced a kosher copy of XP Pro 64.
Can anyone offer suggestions
