XP Setup to use a usb flash drive for sata drivers

How can Windows XP Setup(F6) use a usb flash drive instead of a floppy drive to find drivers for a sata hard drive.

The floppy drive is used to load the SATA drivers

F6 is only for floppy

you can create your own custom installation of XP which can include installing device drivers from a USB device, but not using F6.

This article shows how to create an install CD which includes your SATA drivers, and adds Service Pack 2 to your newly installed OS, making it less vulnerable. It won't include anti-virus, anti-spyware or anything like that but it will at least have Microsoft's firewall, and many critical security updates.
