My cpu failed under xp so I changed out the mother board and chip. I went from an amd 1600 chip to 2000 now I am unable to start XP. The system starts and then stop. Several componets no longer work such as my Jaz drive. What can I do to correctthis problem

XP shut down message

Most likely, from changing out the motherboard, you have triggered a product activation event.

Start with this Microsoft Technet article

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;314070

Remove any spaces from the pasted link.
Then, once you have the PC booting, you will need to install the proper drivers for the new motherboard.
