My XP workstations are to slow logging on to the network. I noticed this problem after I changed the network domain name. Any idea why?

Did you change the Domain name at the server, and, or the PC’s themselves they all need to be on the same page. Did any DNS changes happen at this time. Is the Domain Server IP the Same? All these things can affect login.

You might want to check if you have installed XP Security Patch #811493 recently. I found significant system slowdown after installing the patch. The problem was resolved when the patch was uninstalled. The degree of slowdown seems to be dependent upon many system variables.
