I have a Dell computer used primarily by one person to play MS Flight Sim. That account has sound. I logged into another account and there is no sound. I have checked all the obvious – mute – disabled – event viewer. I created a new admin account and there is no sound. I logged into the main administrator account and no sound.
Sound is onboard. Drivers are up to date. I find it hard to believe a program can turn off sound on other accounts.
