Dell Dimension 4600. Replaced drive with Hitachi 500GB IDE. 40GB partition for OS and 460GB for the rest. 1GB RAM. Fresh Install XP SP1 and all okay. Install SP2 and on reboot get BSOD 0x00000024 (Corrupt NTFS.sys). I uninstall SP2 and everything is okay again. I downloaded fresh copy of SP2 and get same results.
Ran Hitachi’s HD testing utility and no errors found.
Any ideas?
