Hi All. I have a Iomega Desktop Hard Drive Hi-Speed USB 2.0 360 GB. I got this HD recently and still couldn’t get it to work no matter how much guides i followed!.

I’m sort of new to posting for help. I’ve tried just about everything but as far as what i read on the Web no one seem’s to had this problem. Ok here we go.
I plug the External Hard Drive like how it should be, and that usual sound plays when a Device is pluged. It asks me to install i click on install automatically it searches but no luck! ”the hardware cannot be installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software.” and then a balloon pops up ”a problem occured during hardware installation. Your new hardware might not properly”
It only shows up in ‘Device Manager’ in the ‘Other Devices’ and in their ‘External HD’.
I went to ‘Disk Managment’ but it only shows my ‘C’ Drive and nothing else so i cant format it either. There was no installatin CD. Please Help i read and typed up all possible key words on google but just could not get it to work. My current HD is full to its mouth so i really need to back up my files for a fresh start and security. Thanks for all helps from now.
