I’ve reinstalled XP Pro yet again. I use this machine as a test bed for software, and the OS regularly ‘goes south’ and requires re installation.
One of the first things I do is install all Windows updates and it usually goes well albeit slowly.
My latest re installation was the first since the release of SP3. It downloaded and installed okay, but I have been able to install any subsequent Windows updates.
Is there a way to avoid installing SP3 and install the individual updates incorporated in SP3?
