I have a user whose XP SP2 just this morning started blacking out the right side of the start menu, min/max/close buttons on certain app’s diplay nothing on the button, radio checkboxes on those same app’s are blacked out or invisible. In my display settings under APPEARANCE, & ADVANCED the option for CAPTION BUTTONS even shows them with nothing on them. Everything was alright the Friday before, I’ve performed a system restore to no avail, I’ve booted into safe mode with all the same results. I’ve performed a full virus scan, looked for hardware device issues, swapped out USB keyboard and mouse for PS2, changed the display resolution, refresh, theme, & background. I’m stumped, any ideas?
