XP Sysprep

by ahowley . Updated 23 years, 7 months ago

Hi, I’m using the new version of sysprep for an XP image. I would like to drop this image onto another PC that has similar HD, except for the video and modem. I setup the sysprep answer file, and also pointed the unattended section to the proper place where the drivers to be installed should be. My problem is that sysprep does not find the proper drivers and then I have to install the drivers manually when I drop the image down to the different PC.

Any reason why this could be happening?Here is part of the answer file:

;SetupMgrTag
[Unattended]
OemSkipEula=Yes
InstallFilesPath=C:\sysprep\i386
TargetPath=\WINNT
OEMPnPDriversPath=hp\drivers\audio;hp\drivers\intel;hp\drivers\modem;hp\drivers\NIC;
hp\drivers\touchpad;hp\drivers\c410video;hp\drivers\c410video\atidrive;hp\drivers\c410video\atim6;hp\drivers\c410video\atim72k;
hp\drivers\c410video\n400c
