XP Task Manager

When I press ctrl-alt-del to bring up the task manager I recieve this error Windows TaskManager has encountered a probles and needs to shut down.

I dosen’t show up onteh screen just in the area by teh clock

It sounds like it’s corrupted or getting an explorer error.

Click START>RUN and type [b] sfc.exe /scannow [/b]

it will scan and replace any corrupted system files, you will need the dick or point to the original install files if on the hard drive and it doesnt find them automatically.

If it doesn’t work, you should repost your question in the Technical Q&A forum instead of the discussion forum. You will get FAR better replys and more accurate ones if this quick fix doesn’t work for you.
