One DC domain, 3 XP profesional computers. DC was set up by former admin that screwed up a bunch of things, he never got the computer joined to the domain properly. I got 2 of the computers joined, networked, sharing files fine. One machine (the boss’s of course) is the problem. I can copy, paste, put, get files FROM the domain controller (also serves as file server) but I cannot GET files from this XP computer from any other machine on the domain. WinExplorer finds the computer but when you try and connect, get “you don’t have permissions” error. No event log info. I have rejoined the domain, renamed the computer, renamed the computer AND rejoined the domain. Still same problem. Suggestions?? (besides reinstalling XP).
