I have an NT4 Domain and am away to migrate 60 clients on it from Win 9x to XP Pro. The domain will remain on NT4 server for the time being.
The NT4 domain is set to expire passwords every 60 days and when you login from a 9x client it will prompt you and pop up a password dialogue change box.
Under the XP Pro client however when it expires it just gives you a “Users password must be changed before logging on for the first time” message and denies access to the network resources.
Are there any add ons or any way to get the XP clients to behave in the same manner as 9x clients for this domain password prompting and changing?
