XP will not boot

by jonnyhardy . Updated 17 years, 4 months ago

Hi

I was moving round what is plugged in where in my USB ports last night on my desktop

And I had unplugged my wireless keyboard and mouse dongle and then put it in the back of my pc and it brought up the install wizard so I plugged in my old usb keyboard and mouse and the pc crashed

However now my pc won?t boot I get to the Xp screen after a longer then usual load time then it blue screens for a second and crashes

I have tried to boot in safe mood but despite pressing F8 and holding it down I have got nothing

My pc won?t boot from cd either as I have the manufactures recovery disk in there.

I can access the Bios (F2) and also the boot menu (F11) so the keyboard is function even if it is USB keyboard error

I can not read the error message as it too fast to make sense but I have noticed physical memory dump on the BSOD

Thanks in advance to all poster
