I’m running xp home edition, media edition.
I have noticed lately that I am not booted in normal mode. I have run msconfig and tried seeting it to normal mode, however whenever I do this and chech the boot up it has safe mode checked. If I uncheck safe mode and then look at start up it always shows selective mode. If I choose uncheck selective mode and look at bootup it has changed back to safe mode. It seems I can’t seem to select normal startup without safe mode being selected even though I uncheck them. The computer boots ok in selective mode but I wondering if it should be booting in normal mode. Any ideas whats up with this
