What's so hard to understand?.....

by btljooz In reply to Yes, but...

Nick, I don't know what is so difficult to understand about a person stating the he simply can not copy the article so that he can print it for future reference. That is what lhomicz said in his original post. I was one of those who answered him with a solution and when he came back and said that he couldn't get his computer to do it no matter what he tried I suggested that he go on line to make a PDF of the article so that he could save it to his computer and then print it. What is so hard to understand about that?

I strongly suggest that you go back to lhomic's original post entitled "Copying article for future use failed miserably" and read it and the rest of this complete thread so that you get a better comprehension of continuity of the time-line of the thread which should lead you to a better understanding of what is going on. I've been genuinely concise and extremely detailed and to the point in each of my comments there. I truly do not know what else to say to you.

And I still don't understand why he needs to copy the article.

He should be able to call up the article in any browser, click Print (or type Ctrl+P), select the PDF converter he installed as his printer, and click Print again. He'll be asked what to name the document and where to save it, and it will be done. Most of them will also open his default PDF viewer so he can review the finished product.
