Sound issue suddenly surfaced with no apparent software changes. Audio can barely be heard through speakers or headphones.
Tasks accomplished:
-All volumes up in the application and the main volume control.
-Thumbwheel is all the way up. Max position results in low volume mentioned above. Min position kills the audio so wheel is working.
-No secondary audio control programs found
-Device manager shows all items working
-Deleted and reinstalled all audio drivers
-Replaced audio board
-Startup beep is also affected
-Safe mode is also affected
