This is a scam! It may offer you an antispyware to remove the spyware for a price.

Download the programs below and update definitions (except CCleaner). Run them in Safe Mode.

3. Spybot S&amp - http://tinyurl.com/yrwy2
4. Ewido - http://tinyurl.com/5b3qh
5. SuperAntiSpyware - http://tinyurl.com/ox7un

If you still have the problem, refer to http://tinyurl.com/98njo for more info and run below in Safe Mode.

Download and install the free Yahoo toolbar.
It includes a popup blocker. Get it here:

My sister's computer had this piece of spyware - it's REALLY nasty and hard to get rid of.

Before starting back up any data that would "really suck" to lose.

There are a few companies that run this scam - you need to figure out the offender:

If it's spyaxe:
1) Save Uninstallers.zip from http://www.spyaxe.com/uninstall/uninstallers.zip to your desktop or HDD. If you can't find them here do a google for "Spyaxe uninstaller

2) Extract 2 files "illegal_adv_uninstall1.exe" and "illegal_adv_uninstall2.exe" to your desktop or your HDD using WinZip.

3) Execute both of them one by one by double-clicking with your mouse.

4) Reboot your PC

Spyaxe has recently been working with an advanced malware program called SpywareStrike which poses as a program to REMOVE spyware. NASTY!

This was what my sister had, I followed this thread:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic40303.html

Also check out Wikipedia on it:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SpywareStrike

If these don't work:

- Try Microsoft's Malware tool - sometimes it's surprising what it can (and can't) clean:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx

- I also tried an online spyware remover. I didn't remove it but it told me WHAT it was so I could google ways to fix it:
http://www.trendmicro.com/spyware-scan/

Good luck!!!

Be sure to not load network connection under safe mode and disconnect from the internet until the problem is cleared, because it will continue to reinstall itself.

this is an ad-ware pop-up. what you need to do is go in search of an ad-ware block because windows security isn't 100% efficient.
