Zip Drive Assignment

How do you force your Zip Drive to accept Floppy B assignment. Zip drive keeps jumping drive assignments even when I use D or F. I managed to get my pc to accept Bfloppy but don’t remember how I did it. I have downloaded the newest drivers and still have problems on customers PC’s. My pc still maintains Floppy B. Whaddya think?
