I am getting the seemingly common “The Procedure Entry Point Get Process Image File Name W Could Not Be Located in the Dynamic Link Library PSAP1.DLL” error when clicking a hotlink URL in any application or a general failure in Outlook 2007.
I am running Windows XP SP2 with all hotfixes and updates provided via Windows Update.
As noted on various sites, I do not have an IE7 beta installed–never have. I also do not have other/different versions of PSAPI.DLL–the only instance is the one in the System32 folder. It’s listed as v4.0.1371.1.
Any insight as to how to fix/replace this DLL?
