Gigerish Zoom 3DWebshots member Rajahh has taken his amazing fractal creations into the third dimension. As with his previous fractal galleries, Rajahh created these Fractal Flames with Apophysis--a freeware Windows application with which you can design and render fractal flames. He then used a self-made Paintshop Pro plugin to convert the brightness-encoded height information from the Apophysis pictures into a red-cyan anaglyph image. The resulting picture creates a stereoscopic 3D effect, when viewed with two-color, 3D glasses. You'll need to wear your 3D glass to get the full effect. This particular anaglyph shows off the depth and transparency of the flame fractal.
