    Webshots member Rajahh has taken his amazing fractal creations into the third dimension. As with his previous fractal galleries, Rajahh created these Fractal Flames with Apophysis–a freeware Windows application with which you can design and render fractal flames. He then used a self-made Paintshop Pro plugin to convert the brightness-encoded height information from the Apophysis pictures into a red-cyan anaglyph image. The resulting picture creates a stereoscopic 3D effect, when viewed with two-color, 3D glasses. You’ll need to wear your 3D glass to get the full effect. This particular anaglyph shows off the depth and transparency of the flame fractal.
