eBay has launched an easy-to-customize widget for embedding direct access to eBay search results, a single auction item, or multiple auction items right onto a Web site or blog. Here is a look at the step by step customization process.

Step two: Pick the Widget type
The user must pick which version of the widgtet to use (search, multiple item, or single item).

Step three: Input data
For the search version of the widget, you must input the search string (like “Zipp Wheels”). For the single and multiple items versions of the widget, you have to enter the eBay item numbers.

Step four: Get the embed code
The embed code gets pasted onto a Web page or into a blog (or MySpace page, etc.). eBay offers detailed instructions for various social networking sites and services to make the embed code work.
