Google is expanding its Gmail to make it easier to share information, photos, videos, links and more with your friends. Sam Diaz blogged live from Google’s Tuesday event that introduced the new tools.

Buzz connects directly with Gmail so no set up is required and your friends are already established.
You can use Buzz to connect to the world or small groups.
Buzz automatically pulls images from links.
Buzz lets you share photos.
Buzz will also let you share videos.
You can connect to other sites that you use – Picasa, Flickr, Google Reader, and Twitter are highlighted here.
Comments can be added to your posts.
Friends can respond – and you get an e-mail to alert you.
You can send comments straight to a friend’s Gmail box.
You can get recommended buzz from people you are not following.
Buzz also works on your phone.
You can track and communicate with your circle of friends.
