  • Sunlight Direct’s hybrid solar lighting system can bring more daylight into office environments. Studies show that office workers exposed to more natural light are more productive than employees under traditional fluorescent lighting.

  • A mirrored lens concentrates sunlight before it sends it into a building. The system also has a secondary lens to filter out infrared light, a way of cutting down on heat.

  • Sunlight Direct’s system uses a mirrored dish about four feet in diameter to collect light and then distribute it into buildings via fiber-optic cables. The system, meant primarily for flat-roof commercial buildings, is designed to reduce energy use.
