Wirt sees a three-layer arrangement,rnwith virtualized computing resources as the foundation, arnservices-oriented architecture of software above it, and actual businessrntransaction software at the top. Spanning all three layers is technologyrnto provide and enforce security, administer policies such as processrnreponse time, and manage the computing equipment.
