Seattle-based Edoc Laundry has incorporated an episodic, multimedia game into the fabric of its garments. The idea is that high-quality, high-concept garments will attract young buyers regardless of whether they know a game is involved.
This shirt from Edoc Laundry has a hidden clue designed into the artwork. The game’s story involves the mysterious death of the manager of a fictional band called Poor Richard.
On another part of the shirt, a second clue is revealed. This can be plugged into the Edoc Laundry Web site to unlock parts of the larger story.
As seasons change, Edoc Laundry will release a new set of garments that tell a new chapter in the larger story.
