    Ford brings a mobile office to its General Contractor F-250 Super Duty pickup trucks. The package, which is installed on the transmission tunnel inside the truck, includes a touch-screen computer, printer, wireless broadband access and Global Positioning System.

  • The computer, which is powered by the car battery, features a touch screen that is viewable in bright sunlight and runs on Microsoft’s Windows XP Professional.

  • The system includes wireless broadband and software such as Outlook for e-mail, Streets and Trips 2006 for real-time navigation, and Internet Explorer for Web browsing.

  • This Ford F-Series Super Duty Lariat, outfitted with the Chrome Package, is similar to the California Custom “General Contractor” F-250 Super Duty built with the mobile office.
