Skype on Thursday announced that it will sell Wi-Fi phones embedded with Skype Internet calling software to allow people to make calls over the Internet without being tethered to their PCs. Here, the Wi-Fi phone from Edgecore.

This Wi-Fi phone from Belkin is one of four new models that come embedded with Skype software.
SMC is also providing a Wi-Fi phone preloaded with Skype software.
Skype announced in January that it would sell Netgear’s Wi-Fi phone preloaded with Internet calling software. The Netgear phone, along with the newly announced phones from Edgecore, Belkin and SMC, will be available this month.
