Error-Couldn't connect to BIOS Server

I'm not sure whether to download the bios update for Win 2000 or not from the
" web site" you suggested since I am on WinNT 4.0 (Workstation) on my Toshiba 8000 laptop. You didn't say whether this would work on an NT loaded machine. Maybe the download would be fine, however I'm hesitant to try it, in case it causes more problems than it solves, i.e.-the error msg. on boot up, "Can't connect to bios server".

Please let me know whether it's safe to download the W2K fix or not. Thanks.
