      If you mix RAM Speeds

In reply to 2 different bus speeds. 2400Mz and 2666M. so what is the real seep?

The M’Board will default to the slowest speed so if you have 2400 and 2666 MHZ the buss speed will be 2400 MHZ.\

With all Dual Socket RAM it is best to have Matched Pairs fitted to get best performance and if that isn’t possible RAM from the same Production Run with the same specifications to get the best performance. Mixing RAM can cause real problems that are very hard to work out what is going on.
