2 DSL routers on one network

by islandcomputers . Updated 19 years, 1 month ago

It is possible to have two DSL routers on 1 network?

The reason I ask is that I wish to split mail server and webserver for incoming requests, but still have fast access to them both from within the network without having to go via the internet.

If both routers are on the same subnet, should this work?

Or could they be on different subnet such as 192.168.0.0 and 192.168.1.0 and use subnet mask of 255.255.0.0 and still be able to map ports – sat port 80 to 192.168.0.2 and port 25 to 192.168.1.2
