i asked the same ques. a week before, but it was misunderstood by many. here i am repeating the Ques. in a much detailed manner.
I am a cisco trainer and perform this experiment in my lab.
the ip add and subnet mask used on 2 pcs. are:-
PC1:-
ip add:- 192.168.10.12
s. mask:- 255.255.255.0
gateway:- 192.168.10.12
PC2:-
ip add:- 10.0.0.12
s. mask:- 255.0.0.0
gateway:- 10.0.0.12
and when tried to ping PC1 from PC2, it worked.
what can be a probable reason?
